SULFITE BASED OXYGEN SCAVENGERS
GENERAL DESCRIPTION :
The UPS F. 900 is a sulfite based oxygen scavengers prevent oxygen pitting corrosion of boiler system. The UPS F. 900 is catalyzed and is conveniently formulated in dry or liguid form for specific operating conditions or treatment needs. The catalyst present permits more efficient reaction of sulfite with oxygen.
USAGE :
The UPS F. 900 product must be dissolved in water before applying to the feed system. UPS F. 900 can be mixed and fed with other UPS Boiler Treatment products. Your UPS Technical Service Representative will provide dosage requirements after thorough surveys of the boiler operation and feed water quality are made.

REGULATORY STATUS :
The UPS F. 900 product is formulated in compliance with subpart D, section 173.310 of the FDA Food Additive Regulations for use in boilers producing steam which contact food. The product line contains de – characterized formulations which are authorized by the USDA for use in Federally Inspected Meat and Poultry Plants.
HANDLING AND STROGES
This product may cause severe eye and skin irritation. Harmfull if swallowed. Avoid eye and skin contact. Wear eye protection and rubber gloves at all times when handling these products. Avoid breating of dust or vapors. Keep out of reach of children. Store in a cool, dry place away from strong oxidizing agents. In case of eyes contact, immediately flush eyes with large amounts of water for 15 minutes and seek medical attention. For skin contact, wash effected area with soap and plenty of water.
